Another option is to fold. If the player is unwilling to bet, the hand is discarded. Depending on the type of game, the player may also have the option to re-draw. Assuming a player discards a pair, the second-highest card will be the winner.
An ace high straight flush is a straight flush with an ace in it. If the ace is in a different suit, the hand is a full house.
The Royal Flush is a hand in which the highest possible card is an ace. Two identical hands of kings and aces are a tie, and the tie is broken by the highest unmatched card.
One of the simplest ways to win the pot is to make the first bet. During the first betting interval, the player with the highest ranking poker combination has the privilege of making the first bet. Other players must then match the bet, and if they do not, the bet is folded.
Another way to win the pot is to make a bet that no one else calls. Usually, this is a good move if the player has the best hand. However, this can be a risky strategy if the other players suspect that the player in question is bluffing.
Betting continues until every player in the hand has folded. Depending on the rules of the game, a player may be required to contribute a certain amount of money to the pot before the deal.
